SEATTLE — The National Weather Service says heavy snow in the Cascade Range on Thursday makes for winter driving conditions in the passes.
Forecasters expect 1 to 2 feet of snow in the mountains from the latest storm as winds and rain buffet other parts of Washington.
Forecasters say a series of Pacific frontal system will likely continue the breezy, cool wet weather well into next week. Some Eastern Washington streams and rivers could rise significantly this weekend as this March winds up as one of the wettest on record.
