Support America’s Armed Forces has launched “Operation Pride” to send treats and toiletries to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan by Memorial Day. Donations received by May 5 can be included in the shipment.
Items sought include deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, unscented body lotion, cough drops, energy bars, trail mix, nuts and sunflower seeds, cracker snacks and more. Cash donations are also needed for shipping costs.
