Highway 9 closed in Snohomish Valley

Transportation officials have shut down Highway 9 at Bickford Avenue and Lowell-Larimer Road. They haven’t estimated a time to reopen the highway.

The water is receding at Island Crossing but the ramps remain closed. According to the State Patrol the water next to I-5 has receded by a foot from the fog line. The ramp from NB I-5 to SR-530 will be closed for some time until enough water has receded to open the road.
