MARYSVILLE — Construction of a roundabout at Highway 9 and 108th Street NE has been postponed until next spring, a one-year delay.
Construction for the $3.3 million project was to begin this past spring and wrap up this fall. But construction was delayed while planners tried to iron out discrepancies in survey data. Once fixes were made, work crews were busy on other projects — and they’re still tied up elsewhere.
When it does begin, the work will require two weekend closures.
The single-lane roundabout is intended to make the intersection safer and reduce wait times.
