HOQUIAM — The Hoquiam City Council has put a six-month moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries in the city.
City Attorney Steve Johnson says that will give the city time to deal with the issue that appears headed for approval in the state Legislature. The state House passed a bill Monday to clarify the selling and use of medical marijuana.
KXRO reports the council will hold a public hearing May 23rd on the drug issue.
