PORT ANGELES — A Clallam County Jail inmate was inadvertently released Tuesday after a court appearance in Port Angeles in a domestic violence case.
The jail says 35-year-old Lavan A. Lukes was with a group of inmates freed after a court appearance, but he was supposed to remain in custody.
The Peninsula Daily News reported that the victims in Lukes’ domestic violence case have been notified he’s still at large Wednesday.
