SNOHOMISH — Detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting Sunday night in Snohomish that sent one man to the hospital.
The victim, a Snohomish man, 22, was reported in stable condition Monday.
Detectives did not yet have a good description of the suspect to release, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The incident was reported at 7:27 p.m. Sunday along Lincoln Avenue, near First Street, Snohomish County sheriff’s Lt. Scott Parker said.
Investigators were told a man was shot after interrupting a burglary at his home, Parker said. The extent of his injuries wasn’t disclosed.
Ireton said detectives have not confirmed who owned the weapon involved in the shooting. On Monday they had not yet interviewed the victim, who had been undergoing surgery.
