LYNNWOOD — A man suffered leg injuries Saturday after falling from a moving car in the Martha Lake area, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Deputies were called around 11:45 a.m. to the 15100 block of Cascadian Way. The injured man and his teenage son reportedly had been arguing at a nearby home when a friend of the son arrived there in a car, the sheriff’s office said.
“For reasons still under investigation the Lynnwood man jumped onto the acquaintance’s car and he drove off with the Lynnwood man still on the vehicle,” sheriff’s Lt. Todd Swenson said in a press release.
The man, who is in his 40s, soon fell off, Swenson said. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle by ground ambulance. The driver initially left the scene, but returned and was cooperating with the police investigation.
