LYNNWOOD — Police still were searching for a man hours after he reportedly robbed a Lynnwood bank Tuesday.
The robbery occurred at Wells Fargo in the 2600 block of 196th Street SW, Lynnwood police Cmdr. Sean Doty said. Someone at the bank called for help around noon. The man reportedly stole money and ran away.
A customer briefly chased the suspect toward the Alderwood Boys & Girls Club. No children were in the center at the time, Doty said. Police dogs didn’t find the suspect.
The man had long hair and appeared to be in his 20s, police said.
