A man was arrested late Saturday after allegedly stabbing another man at a meth house south of Monroe, police said.
The injured man was treated and released, said Rich Niebusch, spokesman for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Names and ages of the two men and the hometown of the injured man were not available Sunday.
The victim apparently went to the suspect’s house in the 22900 block of Lake Fontal Road to buy drugs, Niebusch said. The resident then became angry and hit the other man with a glass and stabbed him repeatedly, Niebusch said.
The injured man left in his car and called 911 at 5:30 p.m. about half a mile up a dirt road. Police responded and found the resident fleeing near his home, Niebusch said. A police dog tracked the man down. Because the suspect did not surrender right away, the dog was turned loose to catch him, Niebusch said. The man suffered minor injuries as he was caught.
When deputies searched the man’s home they found a meth lab, Niebusch said. The lab was being cleaned up Sunday, he said.
