MOUNTLAKE TERRACE – A road rage incident ended in an arrest Wednesday morning after the suspect followed the victims to the police station.
A family got off the freeway at 220th Street SW when a man tried to pass their vehicle from both sides, according to police. The victims said the man, 29, appeared enraged and was tearing off his shirt while he was driving.
The man passed the family, slammed on his brakes and then stopped at a green light, police said. He got out of his car and yelled threats at the family.
The victims drove to the Mountlake Terrace Police Department with the suspect trailing their car and honking his horn. The victims yelled to a code enforcement officer for help.
The suspect continued to yell threats, and drove off when the officer approached him.
Police were able to track down the man, and he was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of disorderly conduct and reckless driving.
