EVERETT — A motorcycle rider died Sunday after a collision with a car along Evergreen Way, Everett police reported.
The man, 36, of Everett, was riding northbound in the 4900 block when the driver of a southbound car, 62, turned in front of him into a store parking lot, Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said.
The cyclist tried to stop but was unable, Snell said. He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center where he died from injuries received in the 3 p.m. crash.
Lanes on Evergreen Way were closed while detectives gathered evidence. No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing, Snell said.
