ELLENSBURG — An Issaquah man who stopped to admire the view fell off a cliff into Lake Kachess and died.
The Kittitas County sheriff’s office said 51-year-old Glenn Williams was driving on a Forest Service road with his wife and daughter Saturday evening when they stopped at the lake about 10 miles east of Snoqualmie Pass.
Williams fell 40 to 50 feet into the water. He was picked up by a boat and taken to shore where he was declared dead.
