MILL CREEK — A man was arrested Thursday morning after robbing an auto parts store and fleeing on a mountain bike, police said.
The man, 45, of Mill Creek, went into Schuck’s Auto Supply in the 3200 block of 132nd St. SE before 8 a.m., Mill Creek police detective Ian Durkee said.
The man displayed a handgun, took money from the cash register and then fled on his bike, Durkee said.
A Snohomish County sheriff’s deputy spotted the man after police began a search.
A Lynnwood Police K-9 unit tracked the man from the store to where he had been stopped, and an employee from the store identified him as the robber, Durkee said.
Police arrested and booked the man into Snohomish County Jail.
The investigation is continuing, Durkee said.
