KENT — Police say a man wearing dark clothing was attempting to cross a busy five-lane road in Kent before dawn about 6 a.m. Monday when he was struck and killed less than a block from a marked crosswalk and traffic signals.
Police say there’s no evidence that weather was a problem or that the driver was speeding.
The 79-year-old pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.
