LYNNWOOD — A fight among teenagers Wednesday night near Lynnwood led to the stabbing of a 19-year-old man, police said.
The man was stabbed in the shoulder blade during the fight near Alderwood Middle School on 28th Avenue W, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
The man didn’t report the assault, and later went to a friend’s house nearby. The friend’s mother called 911 about 9:40 p.m., Hover said.
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Hover said. His injuries weren’t believed to be life-threatening.
He declined to speak to investigators about the assault. Additional details weren’t available Thursday.
