MILL CREEK — A man was shot Thursday evening in Mill Creek. Police believe his injuries are not life-threatening.
The wounded man went to a local hospital after being shot in the lower torso. At around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, a shooting was reported in an apartment in the 1100 block of Mill Creek Boulevard, according to police.
No other injuries were reported.
Mill Creek police believe there may be “several outstanding suspects,” but there is little threat to the general public.
People who called 911 reported hearing gunshots and loud voices, according to police. When police arrived, they found shell casings in the breezeway of the apartment building and possible bullet holes in the wall. The apartment door was unlocked, but they found no one inside.
According to police, they’ve been called to the apartment before.
No damage was reported at neighboring apartments.
