MARYSVILLE — An autopsy confirmed a Marysville man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the end of a police chase last week.
Police responded to a report of shots fired and domestic violence late June 17 in the 4900 block of 88th Street NE.
The suspect left the scene in a white pickup. Officers gave chase, forcing the vehicle to spin out a few blocks away. As officers approached the vehicle, they heard a gunshot.
The man died by suicide, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Friday. He was 43.
