Marysville police investigating gunshots that injured man

The Marysville man, 62, suffered a wound to his left knee and was treated at a hospital.

MARYSVILLE — A Marysville man was shot in the knee and hospitalized early Sunday morning.

Police found the man in the 12100 block of State Avenue after reports of yelling and gunshots around 3:36 a.m. Investigators believe a fight between two other people preceded the gunfire, which was not intended for the victim.

The man, 62, had a gunshot wound in his left knee and was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, according to the Marysville Police Department.

Officers were investigating the shooting and asked anyone with information to call the Marysville Police Department at 360-363-8326.
