MILL CREEK — A 21-year-old woman has been arrested for investigation of a hit-and-run vehicular assault.
The Mill Creek woman is accused of striking a pedestrian who was standing on a sidewalk in the 1300 block of 136th St. SE last June.
She was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on Monday.
The pedestrian, a 24-year-old Everett man, suffered a broken bone, cuts and a head injury. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The woman did not stop to give her name and contact information nor did she call 911, according to a probable cause affidavit filed by police.
The victim is recovering well, Mill Creek police Detective Ian Durkee said.
“It has been a long on-going case for us because we wanted to build the most solid evidence we could,” Durkee said.
