LYNNWOOD – A Lynnwood man reported missing since February was found dead early Monday, police said.
A police officer found Scott Alan Flin, 50, dead in his truck, parked behind a Lynnwood Chinese restaurant in the 6100 block of 196th Street SW, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.
Police are investigating and waiting for autopsy and toxicology results, which could take several weeks, Sessions said.
Flin was last seen on Feb. 11. He had moved out of his Lynnwood home shortly before that date, Sessions said. Flin told relatives he was going to check into a local motel.
His family reported him missing on Feb. 29, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. Detectives could find no record of Flin at local motels.
