Commuters who take Sounder commuter rail from Seattle to Edmonds, Mukilteo or Everett will have to take the bus home tonight and both ways tomorrow after mudslides today closed tracks.
Service will resume Monday if no other slides occur. Special bus services to northline Sounder Stations will depart from downtown Seattle on the following schedule this afternoon.
To Edmonds: Buses will depart Fourth Avenue and Jackson Street at 4:05 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. Riders may also take Community Transit Route 416.
To Mukilteo: Passengers may board special express charter buses at Fourth Avenue and Jackson Street at 4:05 p.m., 4:33 p.m., 5:05 p.m. and 5:35 p.m., or Community Transit Route 417 at the same location.
To Everett: Passengers may board special express charter buses at Fourth Avenue and Jackson Street at 4:33 p.m., 5:05 p.m., and 5:35 p.m., or take Sound Transit’s regularly scheduled express Route 510 at the same location.
