MUKILTEO – Students at Endeavor Elementary School in Mukilteo have returned to class after being evacuated for about an hour because of a gas line break across the street.
Firefighters were called to the school just before 10 a.m. after staff complained of a strong smell of natural gas. Some students complained of headaches. Students and staff were evacuated while fire crews inspected the school.
The students have been allowed to return to class. No serious injuries have been reported.
