PORT ORCHARD – The senior enlisted man at Naval Base Kitsap, accused of attempting to meet a woman and her two children for sex in a hotel, was charged Tuesday with two felonies.
Command Master Chief Edward E. Scott, 43, was charged in Kitsap County Superior Court with second-degree child rape conspiracy and immoral communication with a minor over the Internet, prosecutors said.
Scott’s lawyer, Eric Fong of Port Orchard, did not immediately return a call seeking comment Tuesday afternoon.
Scott had been held in the Kitsap County Jail since his arrest last Friday. His bail was set at $150,000
