MUKILTEO — Students on their way to Columbia Elementary on Wednesday morning were delayed after a car collided with their school bus.
The car was pulling out of the Saratoga Apartments around 8:25 a.m. on to E. Gibson Road when it collided with the bus, officials said.
The students were not injured, but there was enough damage to the bus that Washington State Patrol troopers were called to investigate, according to an e-mail distributed by the Mukilteo School District.
The students were transferred to another bus and were late for school because of the police investigation.
