SEATTLE — The fare at Cyndy’s House of Pancakes in Seattle may change slightly if it turns into a strip club.
A man who sued the city to force it to end a strip club moratorium, Bob Davis, plans to open a club at the site of the north Seattle restaurant, if the sale and building permit go through.
Davis says he’d keep the name Cyndy’s, which the restaurant has had since 1972.
He also told a Seattle newspaper it might still sell pancakes. He says the appeal of the building is its kitchen. He wants to have food service at the club.
Davis won $500,000 from Seattle in 2005 to settle his lawsuit, and the city lifted a 17-year moratorium on new strip clubs.

Aberdeen: State wants $400,000 for spill
The state is seeking nearly $400,000 from a man blamed for spilling 350 gallons of gas from a tank at the Wishkah Valley School in Grays Harbor County.
The Energy Department says Ryan Allen of Aberdeen is responsible for the $350,000 clean-up and a $49,000 penalty.
Officials say Allen was attempting to siphon gas from the school’s tank in February when he was startled and fled, allowing gas to flow into a creek that flows into the Wishkah River.
Colfax: Porn actor gets life sentence for rape
The pornographic film actor known as Jack Venice was given a life sentence for raping a woman at a Washington State University sorority.
Under the sentence he received Friday in Whitman County Superior Court, the 26-year-old native of Houston, Christopher Jack Reid, will be eligible for parole in nine years.
Reid was convicted in October of second-degree rape and three burglary counts.
Reid told the court he is sorry for what happened to the victim but maintains his innocence. His lawyer plans an appeal.
Prosecutors say Reid and a WSU student got drunk and broke into several sororities in search of women to co-star in sex videos.
