SEATAC — Seattle-Tacoma International Airport officials say 16 people were sickened after an odd odor permeated the second floor of the airport parking garage.
Spokesman Perry Cooper said the people reported eye, nose and throat irritation Tuesday afternoon while in the car rental return area.
He said all 16 were treated at the scene, and eight of them were taken to Highline Medical Center in Burien for treatment of minor irritation.
Cooper said fire investigators weren’t able to find the source of the odor.
