EVERETT — Police in Everett arrested a suspect early this morning on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with the Aug. 13 death of a man at a south Everett apartment complex.
The victim, in his late 20s, died after jumping from a second-story balcony.
The suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail shortly before 2 a.m. today. He also is accused of first-degree robbery, according to jail records.
Another suspect remains at large.
The victim apparently jumped to get away from an attacker. He had suffered significant injuries before the jump at the Bluffs Apartments on West Casino Road near Evergreen Way, officials said.
“There are two suspects in the case,” Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said this morning. “The police are out looking for the second suspect.”
