REDMOND — Authorities say a woman walking her dog on a trail in the Seattle suburb of Redmond suffered serious injuries in an attack by a man who jumped out of the bushes.
The King County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was on the Marymoor Park Trail on Friday evening when a man grabbed her, punched her repeatedly and dragged her into tall grass.
Officials said the woman fought and yelled. The suspect ran off when another man heard her and went to investigate.
The woman suffered facial injuries and a broken arm and was taken to a hospital.
Authorities are looking for the suspect described as a white man in his mid-40s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He may be wearing a green and brown sleeveless shirt.
Anyone with information should call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311.
