EVERETT — A Seattle-area rap producer was identified as a man who died in a fiery crash early Saturday in Everett.
Theophilus Adams, 38, was known by his producer name Syko. He’s credited on rapper Mac Dre’s album “Thizzelle Washington” as producing the iconic hyphy single, “Thizzle Dance.”
Adams, of Bellevue, produced many other records and mixtapes throughout his music career.
A little after midnight Saturday, Adams apparently crashed through a barricade while getting onto Highway 526 from northbound Airport Road. His car landed on Boeing property and caught fire.
Adams was dead by the time police arrived.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office classified his death as an accident Tuesday.
