For the second time in 10 days Providence Regional Medical Center Everett has received a six-figure donation for its new medical tower.
On Thursday, the hospital announced a $1 million donation from Phil and Kelly Johnson of Everett. Phil Johnson was founder of Millstone coffee, which he sold in 1994. Today, he is the chairman of Cascade Coffee, Inc., a coffee roasting and service company he founded in 1995.
The imaging services center in Providence’s new medical tower will be named in the Johnsons’ honor.
Providence’s 12-story, $460 million medical is scheduled to open June 14.
Last week, the hospital announced a $5 million donation from Marshall and Katherine Cymbaluk, the longtime owners of an Everett truck dealership.
