Everett City Council, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, City Council chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The council is scheduled to vote on whether to accept a $30,000 grant from the Washington Auto Theft Prevention Authority to buy an automated license plate reader system.

Arlington City Council, 7 p.m. Monday, City Council chambers, 110 E. Third St. The council is scheduled to talk about land-use code amendments, including those dealing with cottage housing.

Lake Stevens City Council workshop, 7 p.m. Monday, Lake Stevens School District administration building, 12309 22nd St. NE.

Marysville City Council work session, 7 p.m. Monday, City Hall, 1049 State Ave. The council is scheduled to discuss vacating a portion of right-of-way east of 27th Avenue NE and north of 172nd Street NE.
