The Snohomish County PUD named 17 winners in its 2017 art and photography competitions. The contests are designed to engage students and the community in energy topics.
Art contest winners were Haven Parks (English Crossing Elementary), Calvin Irby and Athena Soloman (both from Index Elementary), Heidi Ryu (Silver Lake Elementary), Emma Schulmeister (Kellogg Marsh Elementary), Ashten Buchanan (Madrona K-8), Citlalli Cornejo (Immaculate Conception and Our Lady of Perpetual Help), Lucas Mitchell (Lakewood Middle School), Cordelia Notbohm (Valley View Middle School), Danielle Hegarty and Julian Blackstone (both from Glacier Peak High School), and Chloe Keenan (Sultan High School).
Photo contest winners were Sami Reynolds (Snohomish High School), Aris Vanslageren (Stanwood High School), Haylee Felker (Lake Stevens High School) and Taylor Langager and Rita Sakharov (both of Lynnwood High School).
The winning works will be on display through May 12 in the lobby of the PUD’s Everett headquarters at 2320 California St. You can also see the entries at www.snopud.com.
