ABC’s “Ugly Betty” just got a little prettier as the network annouced Rebecca Romijn will join the cast as a regular.
Romijn will play the mysterious woman behind the mask who has been secretly plotting to take over Mode Magazine.
Her last TV stint came last season on The WB, with her short-lived “Pepper Dennis.” Romijn should make a fine addition to the cast of the most-watched new show of the season. “Ugly Betty” pulls in more than 14 million viewers a week, according to Nielsen Media Research.
Romijn was most recently seen in the summer blockbuster “X-Men: The Last Stand,” and has made other television appearances on “Friends” and “Just Shoot Me.” She’ll soon be seen opposite Ben Affleck in the upcoming movie “Man About Town,” as well as “Lies and Alibis” with Steve Coogan. Romijn is currently filming “Lake City” with Sissy Spacek.
