TACOMA — A Tacoma middle school administrator is on paid leave while the school district investigates a parent’s claim that the man failed to intervene when two male students were getting ready to fight.
Tacoma Public Schools spokesman Dan Voelpel told The News Tribune that a parent of one of the boys contends the administrator told them to take the fight outside of school instead of preventing it.
Voelpel did not identify the administrator. The spokesman said the incident occurred Tuesday at First Creek Middle School.
