50 years ago (1958)

Westridge Garden Club viewed a demonstration by Carol Roening on dry arrangement at their meeting in the home of Dorothy Bolger. Assisting the hostess was Linda Bryant, president. Alice Hedlund asked for volunteers to assist the tuberculosis drive at Shopland.

25 years ago (1983)

Hubie McMorrow was named vice president of McKesson Drug’s Northwest regional office, headquartered in Everett. He was formerly general manager of the company’s Pacific Northwest Zone.
