50 years ago (1957)

A move into a completely new and modern shop was made today by the Hilltop Floral Co. and owner Victor Staiff, who expected the new facilities at 4522 Evergreen Way to be among the best in the area.

25 years ago (1982)

Karen Morden of Arlington was the winner of a national grand prize and a local award in the Cappy Dick Young Hobby Club Contest. Other winners were Keith Delisle, Jen Pratt and Llewellyn Lopez, all of Everett; Holly Forsman, Arlington; Brandon Loucks, Lynnwood; Devin Conaway, Marysville; and Stephanie Jorgensen, Snohomish.
