50 years ago (1956)

A group of seniors would perform as snowmen this weekend in the Winter Wonderland sequence of Everett High School’s annual Hi-Jinx in the Civic Auditorium. The snow “men” were Dian Barker, Joan Peterson, Sharon Nagle, Barbara Rocker, Barbara Higbee, Mary Berger, Charlotte Higgins and Elaine Kravity.

25 years ago (1981)

Coach Roger Bray’s Meadowdale High School girls soccer team won the first ever girls state soccer championship. Among the Chiefs were Linda DeBoer, Gayle Bray, Kathy Steele, Patty Clemans and Karen Turner. Bray said they had excellent support from the students and band in their final victory over unbeaten Hazen.
