MONROE — A small earthquake rumbled early Monday morning near Monroe.
The 2.9 magnitude quake struck at 2:41 a.m., according to data from the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. It originated about 3 miles south of Monroe and was almost 16 miles deep. Several people in a Facebook group about Monroe said they felt it for a few seconds.
