BOTHELL — A Bothell father has been identified after police said his son beat him to death with a baseball bat.
Robert Wollman, 72, was found dead in his home Friday morning in the 3200 block of 211th Street SE after both his son, Gavin Wollman, and a neighbor called 911.
Gavin Wollman, 35, was arrested on a street corner near the home. He reportedly told police he’d hit his father.
As of Wednesday, the son was in custody at the Snohomish County Jail with bail set at $1 million. He’s accused of second-degree murder.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death was blunt-force injuries and the manner was homicide.
