PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. — A spring breaker has been hospitalized after falling from a second-story balcony in Panama City Beach after friends say they placed him outside because he was snoring too loudly.
Bay County Sheriff’s officials say they found 31-year-old Justin Harrold unconscious on the hotel pavement Thursday. Friends told authorities they moved Harrold out onto the balcony because he was snoring too loudly. At some point he woke up, and fell.
The News Herald reported Harrold had been drinking heavily before he fell.
Harrold partially regained consciousness and began trying to reposition himself, but authorities tried to keep him still, fearing he had neck and spinal injuries.
Harrold, of Duvall, Wash., was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
