STANWOOD — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, Stanwood Police Department and FBI are investigating social media threats of a school shooting allegedly made by a student at the Stanwood-Camano School District’s alternative learning campus.
The FBI discovered the student discussing a school shooting on social media. Law enforcement identified and contacted the student, according to a release. No other details were provided.
There is no active threat to students or the school, police said.
In a statement, the school district said it will work closely with law enforcement during the investigation.
