SNOHOMISH — A student at Glacier Peak High School reportedly has confessed to writing four of the recent threats found in campus bathrooms.
The girl has not been arrested, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Her age and grade were not provided Friday.
Principal Jim Dean shared the news with parents on Thursday. Earlier this week, the threats led to the district locking student bathrooms on campus to prevent further disruptions.
He again encouraged students with information to come forward.
“We are continuing to look for others who may have been involved in writing other threats,” he wrote.
Snohomish schools spokeswoman Kristin Foley on Friday said she couldn’t discuss the girl’s discipline, but “typically with these situations the student faces an emergency expulsion.”
The district’s schools are on a half-day Friday, then on holiday break. Classes resume Jan. 4.
