SUNNYSIDE — A 20-year-old Sunnyside man was ejected and killed when a speeding car went out of control and overturned off a road in Sunnyside.
The Washington State Patrol says Nicolas Alfredo Marez was one of six passengers in the car early Sunday. Five other passengers, ages 14-to-21, were taken to hospitals and one was airlifted to a Seattle hospital.
The driver fled the scene. Troopers are trying to identify the person for possible charges.
