YAKIMA — City officials say a Yakima attorney contracted as a Sunnyside Municipal Court prosecutor was arrested this past week on suspicion of drunken driving.
The Yakima Herald reported that the city has suspended Kathleen Hitchcock until she has resolved the issue. She was arrested Tuesday morning.
The city has been contracting with two other Yakima attorneys to fill in as prosecutors.
