TACOMA — A Tacoma police officer was injured in an overnight crash.
The News Tribune reported that the officer was treated and released from a hospital early Friday morning. The officer is a K-9 handler and his dog was in the car but not injured in the accident.
The driver of the other vehicle has been arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault. His passenger suffered a one-inch cut to his right eyelid and was taken to Tacoma General Hospital for treatment.
The officer complained of pain in his right elbow and was treated at Allenmore Hospital.
