Privacy rights are for Bud Light drinkers: Alcohol regulators in Alabama want to know the names, addresses, ages and phone numbers of everyone who buys beer at craft breweries for off-premises consumption.
So far, the bureaucrats haven’t explained why they need this information, so we’ll go with the most obvious reason: They want to deport all craft beer drinkers to Oregon.
Slumming: Music superstar Adele says her credit card was declined when she tried to buy something recently at fashion retailer H&M.
Since Adele’s net worth is estimated at about $110 million, we can safely assume she’s got plenty open to buy on her card. What really happened is the computer said, “You’re Adele! What are you doing at a mid-market chain store?”
Don’t know much about history: On this day in 2015, at the first Republican presidential debate, Donald Trump refused to pledge support to whomever won the nomination.
Trump might want to keep that in mind, if his poll numbers continue to nosedive.
