SNOHOMISH — Police caught three people breaking into a Cypress Avenue restaurant late Monday.
Detectives believe the trio, two Everett men, 33 and 28, and an Enumclaw woman, 29, came to Snohomish to target the business in the 200 block of Cypress Avenue, Snohomish police Cmdr. Fred Havener said.
Snohomish officials are checking to see if the group is responsible for similar unsolved break-ins here or elsewhere in Snohomish County, Havener said.
Monday’s night’s burglary was interrupted when police spotted the group attempting to get into the restaurant’s back entrance, he said.
The business is located in an area that has experienced criminal activity recently and police have been keeping a close watch, Havener said.
Two of the three were jailed for investigation of second-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. One man was released pending further investigation.
