U.S. military deaths

The latest identifications reported by the military of U.S. personnel killed in Iraq:

Marine Sgt. Michael E. Tayaotao, 27, Sunnyvale, Calif.; died Thursday from wounds suffered during combat operations in Anbar province; assigned to 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.

Army Staff Sgt. Joan Duran, 24, Roxbury, Mass.; died Friday in Baqouba of injuries from a noncombat incident; assigned to the 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
