PORT ANGELES — Sixteen Clallam County workers who received layoff notices last week will keep their jobs.
Members of the Teamsters union who had previously refused to reopen contract negotiations voted again Monday to accept a package of furlough days and other concessions to save the jobs.
The Peninsula Daily News reports the concessions include16 unpaid furlough days next year and deferred cost-of-living pay raises.
